THOUGHTS

Handwritten stuff

I wish postcards were still a thing.

I remember when I was 14 and went to Hamburg, Germany, for an exchange programme –obviously, no smartphones (great times). I went for 10 days, fell in love with the city, and just before going back to Spain all the German kids wrote me and my classmates postcards. I still keep them all. I don’t follow any of them on Instagram and they don’t follow me either. Funny, though, how we feel most connected when we’re not connected at all.

Anyway, it’ll be nice to send written postcards instead of just sending photos by Whatsapp, posting your holidays on Instagram or sending emails and newsletters. I guess I’ll start to do that.
